Parging is the strip most people never look at — the cement coating between the ground and where your siding or stucco begins, covering the exposed part of your foundation.
It does more than it gets credit for: protecting concrete or block from moisture and freeze-thaw, and tidying a rough surface. When it’s intact, it’s invisible. When it flakes and falls away, water gets in behind it, freezes, and works on both the parging and the concrete underneath. Full replacement — where the coating has failed across most of the perimeter. Everything loose off, concrete prepared and primed, new material in a consistent finish all round.
Sectional repair — where failure is limited to one or two areas, typically a downspout or north-facing wall. We match existing finish and texture as closely as the material allows.
New construction — finishing exposed foundation on new builds, coordinated with the builder.
